Is the Kitchen Stocked?

All you should need is the food! The kitchen is stocked with all the normal kitchenware - pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker etc. A full sized refrigerator, stove and microwave.

How About Bedding?

Every bed in the house will have sheets and bedding. The cabins also have extra pillows and blankets that can be used. If you have a favorite blanket or pillow, bring it along, but don't worry if you forget it.

Bathroom Supplies?

You will find plenty of towels, washcloths etc. in each bath. Also, we want your stay to be the best it can, if you have any special needs or requests, please let us know.

Is smoking allowed in the Cabins?

NO, smoking is NOT allowed in the cabins, but it is allowed outside and the trees like it :-).

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed in the cabins. Pets should never be left unattended.

Is there a phone in the cabin?

Each cabin has a hard line phone. They will receive calls from anywhere as well as place local calls, collect calls and calling card calls. If you will need to make a lot of toll calls, calling cards work really well and are very inexpensive.

Is there cell phone reception?

Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 have Verizon wireless service over DSL inside the cabins only. As a general rule in Pittsburg there is limited or no cell reception. We have heard from a sprint user that there is sporadic coverage at the Arthur Scott Road cabin.

Are supplies close by?

Young's Store is up the road on Rt. 3 and has just about everything including gas. There are several local restaurants for a meal out.

Is there a local snowmobile dealer?

Granite State Power Equipment is located on Back Lake Rd. just a couple miles up the road from the cabins. Visit their website here. 

Is there a local rental company for snowmobiles?
